An unmissable route rich in art and history in Sant’Agata del Bianco, a beautiful and colorful village in the heart of Calabria Jonica, where there are splendid views that tell wonderful stories thanks to the evocative images of the Murals and the Painted Doors. The murals, created not only to beautify the country, tell a story to be rediscovered by future generations. Walking through the picturesque alleys of the historic center, you will arrive at a characteristic street, Via delle Porte Pinte, where you can admire various painted doors with depictions reminiscent of the works of the great Italian writer of the 20th century, Saverio Strati, born here in 1924. The journey will continue with a visit to a winery where the famous Greco di Bianco is produced, described as the nectar of the gods: tasting is accompanied by pastries, dried fruits, and aged cheeses, imbued with the floral scents of the season, particularly bergamots.
