Siderno Superiore, formerly called Sideroni, consists of the oldest part and the medieval village of Siderno Marina, dating back to the 10th century. It has splendid old buildings (Palazzo Falletti, Palazzo barocco De Moia, Palazzo Englen) and evocative churches. Here, among the typical narrow streets of the village, you will witness the characteristic “Ballo dei Giganti” (Giants’ Ball), ancient statues used to strike terror into enemies, followed by wine and product tasting in a typical local winery.
