Visit of the site where Riace Bronzes were found, to talk about the extraordinary event happened in 1972.
Proceeding to Guardavalle Marina, where you’ll experience the thrill of seeing the remains of a well-preserved wreck, about which we’ll tell you the story. It’s the wreck of the cargo ship “Marineta”, whose remains lie on the sandy seabed 2-9 m deep, covered and surrounded by a rich biodiversity.
The third and last stop will be at Monasterace Marina, site of the ancient Greek city of Kaulon, where you’ll find a wide submerged archaeological area, with over 200 pieces of columns and Greek architectural elements dating back to the 5° sec. BC.
